Appointment & Scheduling Policy
The office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. Our overall goal is for all children to have a pleasant and positive experience in the office. As a general rule, patients under 7 years of age will be scheduled in the morning. Having these patients seen in the morning while they are refreshed from a good nights sleep and allotting more time to go slowly for their comfort ensures that they leave our office with a smile. We understand that missing school is not ideal therefore, we are happy to provide a school note for an excused absence.
Missing Appointment Policy
Since appointed times are reserved exclusively for each patient and we attempt to confirm all appointments via email/text/call in the days prior, we ask that you please notify our office 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time if you are unable to keep your appointment. We realize that unexpected things can happen but we kindly ask for your assistance in this regard.
If you have missed your appointment or canceled without giving proper notice, there will be a $50 charge. The fee is incurred for each child scheduled and is not covered by insurance.
Late Arrivals Policy
At our practice, we strive to provide every patient with the highest quality care while staying on schedule for all families.
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you. However, depending on the doctor's schedule and the treatment planned, we may need to reschedule your appointment for another day.
If you anticipate being late, please call our office as soon as possible. We will let you know if we can still accommodate your appointment or if rescheduling will be necessary.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Your punctuality helps us provide excellent care to every patient and keeps our schedule running smoothly.
Treatment Appointment Policy
Patients under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent and/or legal guardian who must remain on-site during the appointment to provide consent for treatment. We understand that there may be extenuating circumstances. In this case, please call the office prior to the appointment to discuss next steps. To ensure an optimal care environment, parents/guardians are asked to remain in the waiting area and not enter the treatment room unless invited by our team. Our team is specially trained to guide children through each step in a positive and supportive way!
