OUR MISSION

Our mission is to provide quality dental care to our patients in an atmosphere that comforts the child, affords them the opportunity to succeed as a patient and reassures the parents of our concern and professionalism. To accomplish this we employ a staff that is caring and provide them with a work environment that is both professional and rewarding.

Our Mission

A CHANGE FOR THE HAPPIER

The miracle we’ve both been waiting for is here: Solea. Now available to you, Solea is a dental laser that replaces the dental drill in the majority of procedures in our practice. In fact, nearly every patient skips anesthesia because they just don’t need it. Solea is our way of keeping you happy. Because more than anything, we love to see you smile.

Welcome

From the moment you walk into our office, you will immediately realize you have chosen a place where your child will feel at ease in our warm, friendly environment. Inspired by The Giving Tree, Shore Pediatric has always incorporated a tree in the waiting room space which over 40 years has become our trademark. Your child will immediately engage in the fun in our waiting room filled with X-box games and age appropriate toys.

Experience

Check In

You will be happily greeted by our front desk staff and guided through the registration process. All necessary forms can be accessed online from the patient portal before you walk in the door. This will help to expedite the process. During our initial intake and health history, we will inquire specific details about your child.  At Shore Pediatric we will tailor to the needs to your individual child to make this a positive dental experience.

Getting Started

The hygienist will come introduce herself and escort your child into one of our bright and cheerful hygiene chairs. Our treatment rooms are designed to be state of art, with digital x-ray equipment that drastically reduces your child’s radiographic exposure. We employ the highest standard of cleanliness and infection control.

The Exam

After your child’s teeth are gently cleaned, the doctor will thoroughly examine your child. We will extensively review your child’s diet and oral hygiene routine, helping to design a plan to reduce the risk of cavities and other dental disease. The practice is dedicated to stressing the importance of oral health of children beginning at infancy. We treat our patients on a 6 month recall basis allowing prevention to be the main focus of our practice.

If your child requires treatment, we will discuss with you the treatment plan and answer any questions you may have. We will allow adequate time with treatment appointments to appropriately manage each child’s needs.

Our Dental Assistants

Our dental assistants are a hard working, compassionate, and caring team.  They are here to help your child have a positive, fun-filled experience during any treatment they may need.

They use a "Tell, Show, Do" technique to eliminate the art of surprise and put your child at ease.  The assistants use terminology that will help your child to be familiar with what steps are taken to complete his or her treatment.

They also speak to them using only child or teen-friendly terms to help eliminate any fear.  It is very gratifying to them when an anxious or frightened child leaves with a smile on their face.

Our dental assisting team takes it's job very seriously.

They are proud of the success they achieve with each and every child.

Our Front Desk Team

They are here to help you schedule and confirm appointments, answer account questions, and, as a courtesy, help you to verify your insurance information and coverage.  Their main priority is ensuring that you and your child(ren) have a positive experience at each and every visit.
